Angora Goats
The adventure began....
In 2021 we added a small flock of 7 Angora goats to our farm. A total of 4 registered CGS Does, 1 registered CGS Buck and 2 Wethers. Angora's provide beautiful Mohair wool and have been a wonderful addition to the farm. All traces of raspberry canes or weeds in the pasture are a thing of the past. We were fast learners on shearing the goats (happens 2 times a year) , trimming their feet and establishing a relationship with the herd. Angoras are quiet in nature and enjoy hanging out in the barn in the shade on a hot, humid day.
The kids
What Joy! In 2022 We welcomed our first crop of kids. A set of twins for each Doe for a total of 8 kids (5 females and 3 males). All were born within a few days of each other. A bit hectic but full of happiness. Our 2022 kids will be for sale in the Spring of 2023. All females are registered as purebred Angoras with the CGS & all goats are current with their vaccinations . Kids are extremely people friendly. We work with them on a shearing stand for all their grooming needs. Please email for details.
